FH.Yeah. Up by (the) Newfoundland Hotel he wa(s).an' he's dre('ssed).dressed .up.dressed up as.all black. VH. White! FH. And he had a [check] .white, then! And he had a.a _carpenter's knife_,or somethin'.An' he went an' ripped by coat right down the side,an' he would.he would have ripped my side open only for.up an' move that away real quick. An' went out an' got a rock. I picked up the rock an' slapped(un at his window.) I phoned _the Police_ [PT] an'.Police car came up an' .couldn't find a [ie him],but they caught him later. JW. WELL what time of years.year was that when that happpened? FH. That was about two years ago. JW. Yeah.An' was it in the middle o' the summer,or winter or when? What time o' day? FH. Summer.It was in (the) night. JW. Night-time? It was dark,was it? FH. (Right). JW.An' he was.what did he look like this fellow that dressed up? FH.They.they couldn't say.He had a mask[PT] an' everything on. JW. He had a mask on. (An') what did he cover himself with? He was in. FH.Black robe. JW. In some.some.some black stuff,eh? VH. Was.we know who it was because every people says they knows.it was ,'cause they saw him up out before. JW. An' he was a young fellow,was it? FH+VH.Pat Snow [PT]. JW. Pat Snow.
