It means that a sharp weapon, (axe, knife, etc.) will be used with devastation [sic] effect. This does not maen [sic] that the users of extreme threats are bloodthirsty, but in the heated stages of a quarrel when they are near blows, threats like the above are used mainly as a deterrent, to force one's opponent to back down. .often used in Grand Bank among children from ages 9 to 15 yrs. old.
