collar n _c_ollar The plaint sets out the claim as being for "Damages sustained through defendant's com- pelling plaintiff's master to dismiss him from his service." The plaintiff was a hired shareman of one Charles Parsons, a dealer and freighter of the defendant's, and was engaged to proceed with Parsons to the Labrador fishery.
