Roberts donated his political papers to Memorial University of Newfoundland for deposit in the Archives and Special Collections. - The papers document Roberts' involvement in political life, mainly in Newfoundland, from 1963 to 1985. They add significantly to the political collections already on - deposit at the Centre, particularly those of Joseph R. Smallwood (in whose Cabinet Roberts served from 1968 to 1972), John C. Crosbie and Dr. Frederick W.
