Summary:This excerpt from the Royal Geographical Society journal (4, 1834) contains details from the Robinson's diary about the geology, fishery, and meteorology of Labrador. A description of Conception Bay and Rev. John Leigh's account of a 1918 interview with Mary March, one of the last of the Beothuk people in Newfoundland, are included in the discussion of Robinson's time in Newfoundland. Of note is the Beothuk vocabulary which was procured by Rev. J. Leigh during the interview. Includes Beothuk vocabulary, procured by Rev. J. Leigh, from Mary March, in March 1818.
