Summary: | Three bully boats built by Lance at his wharf in Old Bonaventure. The boat closest to the wharf was launched in 2014, the middle is the oldest built in 2000, and the one furthest from the wharf was built in 2009. This style of boat was common from Smith Sound to Trinity Bight for use with handline and trawl into the 1970s. Built in Ireland’s Eye, New Bonaventure and elsewhere in this area, these boats were distinguishable by their washboard gunwales. |
