Motor Boat built by Lloyd Boone, Point of Bay Harnum, Jeremy Boone, Lloyd (1953-) Lloyd Boone was born in Cottrell’s Cove in 1953 to Ada (White) and William Boone. He is the brother of Ray Boone of Summerford, New World Island, who is also a boat builder. Lloyd moved to Point of Bay in 1977 and married Cybil Philpott. He worked as a carpenter and learned how to build boats from Cybil’s father, Wilfrid Philpott. Stanley Philpott is Wilfrid's father.
