Summary:In this paper stratigraphic scales of loess and cave sediments from the Last Glacial are confronted with the stratigraphic scales from west Europe. These stratigraphic scales are collated with cold and warm events from the Greenland´s glacier. It shows that the stratigraphy of terrestrial sediments of all the Europe is not so detail as from the glacier. Difficulties from this fact are d iscussed and it is recommended tu use the local scales.
