The origin of bacterioflora in the salmon endosystem is linked with the beginning of feeding of these organisms. It was established that when the quantity of yolk in salmon larvae was decreasing, when the environment temperature was favourable and the water quality in basins conformable, the bacterial digestion turning up in the endosystem gained an opportunity to go over to active nutrition. The bacterioflora found in the salmon endosystem was investigated at different developmental stages of these fish. The diets of fish, the bacterioflora of basins and the Žeimena River water were also examined; 180 salmon larvae, 9 diets and 27 samples of water were homogenised for microbiological analysis. Spleen was found to be the most favourable food for salmon larvae. This was confirmed by the abundance of predominant total heterotrophic bacteria in the salmon endosystem. However, it was established that the ignorance of temperature regime, bacteriologically unfavourable quality of water and food prevented the development of normal bacterioflora in the salmon larvae endosystem.
