Description
Summary:in the final thesis of master, special cardboard „mmk“ for the primary food packaging was analyzed. three main researches were made: analysis of cardboard fibres, experimental investigation on bending fatigue and static load compression, experimental cobb test of water absorption. mmk cardboard was compared to the most common cardboards used in the packaging industry (\"korsnäs white\", \"ensocoat\", \"arktika\"). researches results were presented at the international young scientists conference “industrial engineering 2019“ (annex no.1). the main target of the experimental investigation on bending fatigue, crushing and water absorption was performed to receive results about mechanical mmk strength compared to standard packaging materials and to provide mmk as an ecological alternative for the printing houses to reduce plastic consumption. in the part of technological design, calculations of printing and post – printing processes were carried out, for 10 different packages. having the results the neccessary equipment and number of employees were assessed. in the part of financial - economic calculations, the economic evaluation of the project is carried out which led to assess whether the project is acceptable. prime cost of the products as well as other economic indicators of the project have been identified.
