In this work the main parameters for injection moulding and auxiliary plant selection are calculated. Production cycle, balance of chemical materials and heat are calculated. Injection moulding installation and all other equipment needed to produce the desired detail are designed and selected. For production of detail there is used raw material of polymer – polycarbonate, which is produced from carbonic acid and dihydroxyalcohols or diphenyls. Thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomers are raw materials which are used in injection moulding. Production consists of raw material preparation, drying and blending, as well as plasticizing of materials and forming of detail. Injection moulding machine is the main installation of injection moulding and its main components are form, screw and plasticizing cylinder. Additional equipment in the production line is a dryer, mixer, raw material storage and supply bins, granulating machine.
