Summary:There was surveyed distribution, abundance and condition of rare and protected plant species, includedinthe Red Book of Lithuania, which grew in Kejėnai archaeological mound complex. Kejėnai archaeological mound complex occupiesan area of 10.9 hectares, which includes the Betygala landscape reserve. Botanical studies were carried out in 2013 and 2014 between April and July (the plants start to bloom). There was identified five plants species, which included in the Red book of Lithuania: Corydalis intermedia, Lathyrus laevigatus, Ajuga pyramidalis, Hylotelephium telephium, Silene Lithuanica; and six rare species Thalictruma quilegifolium, Anemone sylvestris, Viola hirta, Trifolium alpestre, Pulsatilla pratensis, Campanula rotundifolia.
