The total economic loss to consumer markets due to the COVID-19 pandemic is around $ 3.8 trillion, or 4.2% of global GDP (Sheresheva, M., Efremova, M., Valitova, L., Polukhina, A., & Laptev, G. (2021). According to R. Karsokienė and L. Dromantienė [3], the tourism industry is going through the most difficult period in its history due to 2020.
