Students, expressing their views on violence against women and children, used the language of graphics. The copies of the first-place winning poster were exposed at the public transport stops in six cities of Lithuania, and students’ poster exhibition “Human beings are not for sale” was exhibited not only at VGTU in Vilnius, but also in many other Lithuanian cities. The exhibition is expected to be transported to Latvia and, perhaps, to Denmark and Iceland. “I teach VGTU students graphic arts, therefore after becoming aware of this contest, I invited computer graphics students to participate at the contest. Although only several lectures on graphics have been held, my students started to implement their ideas bravely. In order to have more students, participating at the contest, I suggested the students of creative industries faculty to get involved. It was amazing, that many students were so enthusiastic, even without sufficient knowledge. Some of the students’ works were so professional, that I was even doubted if they did the work themselves”, - Dr. Rytė Žiūrienė, lecturer of Department of Graphic systems, told about students’ posters.
