In this master’s work is researched the populations’ condition of birds species, that are incorporated in the Lithuanian Red date book. For this reason comprehensive historical facts (1843-2007) were collected and concentred into the database after certain criteria (place of detection, season, and fluctuations of separate species) about the populations’ spread of particular species of birds in the territory of Lithuania (places of discovery, roosts, places of wintering and et cetera). After analysis of population condition’s alternation of these sitting bird’s species during 1843-2007 years in comparison with in adept assessment and officially view statistics of L. Raudonikis and P. Kurlavičius and after collected historic literary the fact of realistically the population state in the country it emerged that the many the populations of plenty was of less lawelling with in adept assessment. The plenty of population and dynamics conformity 24 of species absolutely, but dynamics facts and plenty not conformity absolutely even 40 of species real states. During the last 5-10 years decline the sitting population of plenty and their habitats state fast degrading. The worst situation in the soak habitats (6% the reduction of population), medium in the littoral, coastal and continental sands’ habitats (stable population) and improved in the meadow, scrub, wood habitats and in the urbanized landscape (1-3% the increase of populiation). The present condition the plenty of global vanishing bird’s sitting population for 1986 years: there are descending Aythya nyroca (reduction 67%), Acrocephalus paludicola (possible reduction 35% for the plenty of imbalance) population, or growing Haliaetus albicilla (97% the plenty of increase), Gallinago media (90%), Crex crex (possible increase major neither 22% for major real plenty) population. However, for lack of facts (there were not enough information about the populations’ spread of all species) and absent of late in adept assessment it’s complicated to analyse all species and to evaluate their condition in Lithuania. The analysis of sitting populations’ condition in this work is important not only for knowing rare and vanishing species of birds, but also for practically protecting them and their habitats.
