Summary:The article presents a literary Lithuanian youth group, which operated in Siberia, Alzamas, Irkutsk region, from June to September of 1950 and published a manuscript magazine Taiga (Siberian Taiga); five numbers appeared in total. It describes the origin of the publication, shortly introduces biographies of the authors, analyzes literary tendencies of their creation and shows how it led to subsequent repressions. The manuscript magazine Taiga published poetry and prose of young creators, who expressed the dramatic feelings of the people having left their traditional culture.
