Saw 'Rubus chamaemorus' in fruit on the mountains near Bewcastle, Cumberland. Doubts whether 'Galium witheringii' is distinct from 'Galium uliginosum' having found 'G. witheringii' growing very similar to 'G. uliginosum' in ditches. Specimen of 'G. witheringii' enclosed [extant]. Specimen, labelled 'G. witheringii'.
