中国東北部興安嶺地域における凍土研究 : 1. 興安嶺地域における永久凍土の分布概況

中国東北部興安嶺地域および東北平原における凍土の分布と道路, 橋梁, 建築物等の災害の概況について報告する。1. 興安嶺地域および東北平原は, シベリアに中心を持つ周極の永久凍土帯と季節凍土帯との移行帯に位置する。一般に, 永久凍土帯と季節凍土帯との移行帯においては, 土の凍結深度や凍土の融解深度が大きい。2. 興安嶺地域およびその周辺部は, 冬季には厳寒なシベリア気団の影響を強く受けるため気温が極めて低く, 他の同緯度地域に比べると凍結指数は1, 000 - 1, 500℃・Dayも大きい。また, 夏季には, この地域は比較的低緯度地域に位置するうえに, この地域に向かって太平洋高気圧から吹き込む温暖多湿な季節風の影響により比較的気温が上昇する。そのため, この地域においては, 凍結指数, 融解指数ともに極めて大きく, 永久凍土地域にあっては活動層厚が, また, 季節凍土地域にあっては最大凍結深度が極めて大きいのが特徴である。3. 興安嶺地域および東北平原は, 凍土の分布状況から (1) 連続永久凍土区, (2) 不連続永久凍土区, (3) 点在永久凍土区, (4) 季節凍土区に分けられ, この地域の地理, 気象条件から点在永久凍土の分布面積が極めて広いのがこの地域の特徴の一つである。4. 興安嶺地域および東北平原においては, 永久凍土地域にあっては活動層が, また, 季節凍土地域にあっては最大凍結深度が極めて大きいことから, 土の凍結 - (凍上) - 凍土の融解の過程で発生するさまざまな現象によって引き起こされる道路, 橋梁, 建築物等の災害も多岐にわたり, 被害の程度も極めて大きい。5. 興安嶺地域および東北平原における道路, 橋梁, 建築物等の災害は, (1) 土の凍結 - (凍上) - 凍土の融解の過程で発生するさまざまな現象によるもの, (2) 永久凍土地域に特有な地表水, 地下水の凍結による巨大氷塊 (涎流氷, 氷椎, 氷丘等) の生成と融解によるもの, (3) 地被条件等の人的あるいは自然的な撹乱による土の凍結深度あるいは凍土の融解深度の増大によるもの, (4) その他とに大別できるようである。 In this paper, the existing circumstances of permafrost and seasonally frozen ground in Hingan Ling is reported. 1. Hingan Ling belongs to the transition zone between the circumpolar permafrost area and the seasonally frozen ground area. It is well known that in this kind of transition zone the soil freezing and thawing penetrates extremly under the ground. 2. In winter, it is terribly cold in Hingan Ling where a very influential and cold Siberian air mass covers over. But it becomes comparatively hot because Hingan Ling is situated in relatively low latitude and sent a warm seasonal wind from a Pacific high. So, Hingan Ling shows the from 1, 000 to 1, 500℃･Day larger freezing index than another same latitudes and the greater depths of soil freezing and thawing penetration than another parts of the trasition zone. 3. According to the distribution of permafrost Hingan Ling is classified the four divisions of continuous permafrost, uncontinuous permafrost, scattered permafrost and seasonally frozen ground. It is the chief distinction in Hingan Ling that scattered permafrost ranges very wide.
