description We report the sequence of a pacific oyster cDNA homologous to the ribosomal protein S2. The entire sequence of the cDNA is 872 nucleotides in length containing an 828 open reading frame. The predicted protein with a deduced molecular weight of 30,101 is very similar to the ribosomal proteins from other animal species.
