Summary: | Spatial variability of soil properties in the landscape is governed by multiple factors and processes occurring at various scales. In this paper classical statistics and geostatistics analysis methods were used to quantitatively assess the spatial characteristics of spatial variability and their relation to different factors. It is established that after the withdrawal of the fields from the rotations of the spatial variability decreases, indicating a predominantly anthropogenic origin of heterogeneity of soils in agroecosystems of middle taiga of Karelia.
