In the inte rio r of one of them situated in Przylepki near Srem were found the same cordinately situated shifts of varved clays and clay sands, ra re and almost unseen in the Scandinavian and Polish eskers. A vertical profile of the shifts of the esker, drawn in a natural measure on the millimeter paper gives a picture resembling to the used ones in the method of chronology of varving clays. Composition of the breadth of shifts and thickness of ingreedients shows that: the winter shifts are smaller than the summer shifts, they arise in a period approximately 123 years long, and that they give a good conspect on the genesis of the esker and the movement of the watercontents which built the esker under the ice-sheet. Fig. 1. Graphical composition of a vertical cut through the esker. To the right of the profile in the horisontal direction we see kinds of ingredients: 1 — clays, 2 — clay sands, 3 — fine sands, 4 — gross sands, 5 — gravels; in the vertical direction are registred 306 shifts. The left profile shows the breadth of shifts. Sections enclosed in paranthesis with big letters show complexes of shifts drown on fig 2. Fig. 2. Characteristic complexes of shifts according to the natura l profile: 1 — clays, 2 — clays sands, 3 — fine sands, 4 — gross sands, 5 — gravels. The numbers indicate the position of shifts. A — gravels and sands in the background of the esker, B — varving clays complex, C — different breadth of winter and summer shifts, D — shifts of the middle part of esker, E — gravels and sands of the top of esker.
