Прославление Бога ангелами «Слава в Вышних Богу, и на земле мир, в человеках благоволение!», вошедшее в Евангелие от Луки (2:14), сегодня можно прочесть на языках многих народов, проживающих на территории России и других стран СНГ. Возможность ознакомиться с текстом Евангелия на родном языке появилась и у коренных жителей северных регионов, в том числе Колымы и Чукотки.
