| Summary: | The article is dedicated to the tomb of Kazan prince Khudaikul bin Ibrahim (Peter) in the Cathedral of the Archangel of the Moscow Kremlin. The date of Khudaikul's death carved on his epitaph (March 13, 7016/1508) is incorrect, as the prince was unambiguously alive in 1522. The gravestone was crafted much later than the Chingissid's death, and the date specified on the stone is a consequence of misunderstood information contained in a chronicle article describing the Cathedral of the Archangel. The generally accepted date of Peter's death (1523) proposed by A.A. Zimin is a reconstructed (but at the same time rather plausible) date.
