Ocena wiedzy studentów Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego Collegium Medicum na temat rozwojowej dysplazji stawu biodrowego

Rozwojowa dysplazja stawów biodrowych (DDH) to zaburzenie relacji między panewką, głową stawu biodrowego oraz torebką stawową. Wczesna diagnostyka, odpowiednie leczenie, jak również duża świadomość personelu medycznego i rodziców pozwalają na całkowite wyleczenie dziecka. Cel: Celem badania była ocena wiedzy na temat rozwojowej dysplazji stawów biodrowych studentów Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego Collegium Medicum (CMUJ) na kierunku fizjoterapia, pielęgniarstwo oraz położnictwo. Materiały i metody: Grupa 185 studentów (CMUJ) poddana została badaniu ankietowemu. Ankieta zawierała 22 pytania dotyczące podstawowych informacji o badanym oraz jego wiedzy na temat DDH. Spośród nich 13 pytań dotyczyło wiedzy na temat DDH.Wyniki: Wśród przebadanej 185 osobowej grupy studentów 53 (28,65%) osoby uzyskały wynik dobry, 77 (41,62%) zadowalający, a 55 (29,73%) niezadowalający. Studenci fizjoterapii uzyskali najlepsze wyniki zarówno w grupie studentów 3 roku studiów licencjackich, jak i 2 roku studiów magisterskich.Wnioski: Studenci reprezentują umiarkowaną wiedzę na temat DDH. Zgadzają się z potrzebą edukacji społeczeństwa w zakresie dysplazji jednak oni sami nie posiadają odpowiedniej wiedzy do tego, aby za nią odpowiadać. Developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) this is a disorder of relation between acetabulum, the head of hip joint and articular capsule. The early diagnosis, suitable treatment, as well as the large consciousness of the medical staff and parents permit total curing of the child. Aim: The purpose of investigation was the evaluation of the subject knowledge on developmental dysplasia of the hip of the Jagiellonian University Collegium Medicum (CMUJ) students on studies: physiotherapy, nursing and obstetrics. Materials and methods: Group of 185 students (CMUJ) was surrendered to the inquiry. Survey contained 22 questions concerning the basic information on examined and his knowledge on the subject of DDH. From among 13 of them questions concerned the knowledge on the subject DDH.Results: Among examined 185 students, 53 (28,65%) people obtained good result, 77 (41,62%) satisfying, and 55 (29,73%) unsatisfactory. Students of the physiotherapy obtained best results both in the group of students of 3rd year of undergraduate studies, as 2nd year of Master's studies.Conclusions: Students represent the moderate knowledge on the subject of DDH. They agree with the need for the education of the society within the range of the dysplasia however by themselves do not have the suitable knowledge about this to answer.
