La deuxième, écrite en anglais, se concentre sur la construction d'un nouveau modèle de transport couplé électrons/protons dans l'ionosphère terrestre. This manuscript is divided into two parts. The first part, written in French, deals with the study of stable doubly-charged ions in the upper atmospheres of the Earth and Titan. The second part is written in English and focuses on the building of a new coupled electron/proton transport numerical code applied to the Earth's ionosphere. This PhD project consists in the modelling of planetary ionospheres such as those of the Earth and Titan through high-energy transport processes occurring on the dayside and on the nightside at auroral latitudes. The modelling of the doubly-charged ions N2++, O2++ and O++ created through photoionisation constitutes the first step of this work. The results are compared to the few atmospheric O++ data available on Earth, for which a very good agreement has been found, leading to the first prediction of molecular dications in the Earth's and Titan's ionospheres. In a second step, as a dynamical coupling and an updating of different kinetic codes, a consistent kinetic/fluid proto-electron numerical model called TRANS4 has been built, which makes it a unique tool to get a precise diagnostics of combined proton and electron impacts in the ionosphere. Perspectives are numerous, and one privileged track is to port the whole model to other planetary atmospheres, such as Mars, Venus or Titan, a will that coincides with the exciting success of Mars Express, Venus Express and Cassini-Huygens planetary missions.
