Summary: | Parti-coloured Bat is widespread in Palearctic in a wide spectrum of open habitats. Summer roosts are mostly in buildings but also rock crevices or hollow trees. Maternity colonies include 30-50, rarely up to 200 females. Males may also form summer colonies of up to 250 bats. Hibernation is in small groups or as single animals, also in rock and building crevices. This species is a long-distance migrant and males undertake longer migration as females. First individual was ringed in 2004 and since then there were 24 ringed bats (3 females and 21 males). So far there were no recovery records. Stanković D, Paunović M, Raković M, Editors.
