Maternity colonies include 20-50 females while hibernation colonies may be much larger. This species is seasonal long-distance migrant. Since 1972 there were 415 ringed bats in Serbia, with no recovery records. Most individuals (317) were ringed in the urban area of Belgrade City. Stanković D, Paunović M, Raković M, Editors.
