Juanita Redmond of the Army Air Force Nurse Corps, Myrna Loy, unidentified, and Mrs. Florence French, chairman of the nurses' recruitment committee of the Indianapolis Red Cross. Loy was in town for the Red Cross Nurse Recruiting week, which culminated with a nurses' rally. The rally was held at Ball residence in the Indiana University medical center, at 1232 West Michigan Street. Loy was employed by the Red Cross as the assistant to the director of military and naval welfare in the North Atlantic area.
