Summary:In June mackerel taggings were carried out south and west of Ireland. In total 8 214 mackerel were tagged. More than 71% were released within the area between ca. 50º50` N to 51º00` N and ca. From ultimo June to primo July blue whiting investigations were carried out off the Hebrides, the Faeroe Islands, Iceland and in the northern part of the Norwegian Channel.
