The water flow (vortex) seemed to be fairly low and varied during the six observations hauls. Observations of fish behaviour showed that 0-group cod and haddock reacted to the water flow created by the deviced. The escape rate of fish varied between the six hauls possibly due to the variation in flow pattern.
