On the other hand, the guide species of the Italian network include also plants that are more typical for the Mediterranean climate. The project of the set up of three new phenological gardens in Trentino is illustrated, with some information about phenological garden networks in general. The aim is to build a regional transect, from sub-mediterranean (Arco, Lake Garda area) to Alpine climates (Viotte, Mt. Bondone), representing three different climatic features of Trentino.
