Norsk: I rapporten vurderer vi hvordan en eventuell fritidsbebyggelse i Renålia, Svultningsåsen vil påvirke særlig rein og skogsfugl basert på samtaler, allerede utarbeidde kart og litteratur. Vi har ikke hatt anledning til å gjennomføre feltundersøkelser. Reinen blir definert som tamrein, men lever og blir høstet som villrein. Utbyggingen vil ikke stenge trekkveger. Reinen vil sannsynligvis bruke utbyggingsområdet mindre enn tidligere, den frastøtende effekten av bebyggelsen vil variere med friluftsaktivitet, vær og vindretning. Effekten vil minske med avstanden. Området er ikke noe spesielt godt skogsfuglområde. Utbyggingen vil likevel være negativ for de lokale skogsfuglene som bruker utbyggingsområdet ved forstyrrelser og en sannsynlig øking av generalistpredatorer. Utbyggingen vil ikke spille noen rolle for skogfuglen i Rendalen. English: In this report we assess the effect of developing holiday cottages in Renålia, Svultningsåsen, Rendalen municipality, mainly effects on reindeer and woodland grouse. Our evaluation is based on information from people with knowledge about the nature in the area, available maps and literature. We had no opportunity to do field work. The reindeer are semi-domestic who live and are managed as wild reindeer. Holiday cottages will not close migration corridors. The reindeer will probably use the area less than earlier, depending on the degree of leisure activity and weather and wind direction. The effect will decrease with distance. The area does not have much good woodland grouse habitats. Holiday cottages will still be negative for the local birds through disturbances and a probable increase in generalist predators.
