Zooplankton in the arctic Laptev Sea--feeding ecology as indicated by fatty acid composition

The fatty acid and alcohol composition of the mesozooplankton species analysed indicated a diatom-based diet in late summer. For the majority of organisms investigated, an opportunistic feeding behaviour is assumed.
