A simulacrum of the Iceland cod stock

There is a considerable quantity of data available on the Icelandic cod stock, but in the sequence between 1951 and 1954 there is a gap. An attempt has been made to bridge the gap assuming a constant rate of exploitation. Estimates of exploitation rate were then extended back from those published in...

An attempt was made to distinguish between year classes of Icelandic and Greenland origin and with estimates of weight a series of stock/recruitment curves was derived.
