On the Lateral Refraction of Rayleigh Surface Waves and Microseisms in the North Atlantic

The lateral refraction of microseisms with T = 6 s and of surface waves with T = 20 s has been computed for North Atlantic sources recorded at European stations (Pulkovo, Simferopol, Prague). Such surface waves are not always recorded at certain stations for all source regions owing to the peculiari...

Description
Summary:The lateral refraction of microseisms with T = 6 s and of surface waves with T = 20 s has been computed for North Atlantic sources recorded at European stations (Pulkovo, Simferopol, Prague). Such surface waves are not always recorded at certain stations for all source regions owing to the peculiarities of wave propagation. These pecularities should be taken into account when tracing the sources of North Atlantic microseisms.
