The state of ‘in-betweenness’ is explored as a space that allows for positive reflection from within the margins of a dominant discourse, in terms of culture, language and belonging. The article weaves together childhood memories of Canada using prose narrative, alongside occasional snippets of poetry, which act as a reflective response to the progression of the narrative prose. It also draws upon my family history, as well as stories of transformation from Haida folklore. Article in Journal/Newspaper haida Glasgow School of Art: RADAR Canada
