The resulting hybrid fiber-optic/THz wireless links can be end-to-end (E2E) operated by fiber-optic real-time modems without the need of an additional DSP at the optical wireless analog baseband interface. This chapter summarizes the test beds and experiments that were conducted within the Terranova project to validate the key ideas of coherent THz wireless/fiber-optic links.
