Summary:Tht present report deals with the measurement of fall-out radioactivity in the Faroes in 196S. Sr-80 (and Cs-137 in meat instances) was determined in regularly collected ssmplea of precipitation, milk, potatoes, aheap, fish, drinking water, and deciduous team. la addition, analyses of spot samples of grass, soil, sea water, sea plants, birds, vegetables, bread, cheese, and eggs were carried out. Estimates of the mean contents of Sr-90 and Cs-137 in the human diet in the Faroes in IMS are given.
