Description
Summary:In this report, an algorithm is described for separation and grouping of sperm whale clicks received at a single hydrophone. The clicks are separated into click-trains from separate animals and separate propagation paths. The improvement possible in animal localization using multisensor data is then demonstrated. A localization algorithm is described that can handle multiple whales and that provides estimates of the Cramer-Rao lower bound for the position estimates.
