Computer simulations and experimental data analysis of the four different connections between liquid and solid parts of atmospheric ice show that a combination of series and parallel connections is the most appropriate model for Calculating LWCi. Assuming this combination model, and using in-situ measurements of both capacitance and conductance, we were able to accurately determine the time-variation of LWCi.
