This experiment plan provides the background, objectives, and methodologies for conducting the reduced vertical separation minima (RVSM) experiment. The experiment will use real-time simulation to evaluate oceanic air traffic RVSM in the North Atlantic (NAT) region. This document addresses Phase 1 of a 2-phase simulation study. The study is aimed at achieving early implementation of RVSM in the NAT region.
