The AWS Climatic Briefs provide summarized monthly and annual climatic data for specific locations. Different data summaries provide the information for different geographical areas. These areas are: North America (including Greenland and Bermuda); Latin America (including Mexico, West Indies, and dependent islands): Europe (including North Atlantic islands); USSR and Mongolian Peoples Republic; Peoples Republic of China (no Climatic Briefs at this time); Asia (Turkey and Cyprus to Indonesia and Japan); Africa (including Malagasy); and Antarctica, Australia, and Oceania. Meteorological elements included are: temperature, precipitation, relative humidity, vapor pressure, dew point, pressure altitude, surface wind, mean cloud cover, thunderstorm and fog days, flying weather, and typhoon and hurricane data.
