Summary: | A rationale is presented for a Canadian focus on the security problems of the northern tier of NATO. The main proposition is that cooperation between Canada, Denmark/Greenland, Iceland and Norway at various levels of military effort can achieve a degree of political cohesion that will serve the interests of each of the states involved, and promote the general good of NATO.
