The Technical Evaluation Report on this meeting is also included. Thirteen papers were presented. During the first session, three papers dealt with meteorological icing conditions, the microphysical structure of icing clouds and the measurement of snow concentration. Icing test facilities and their instrumentation currently used in the US, UK and France were reported in the second session, while the third session contained six papers on experiences of different kinds: measurement systems, icing of aircraft engines either installed in aircraft and helicopters, or when taken into test facilities. The Round Table Discussion and Technical Evaluation Report identify the survey achieved by this meeting and the conclusions to be drawn for future work.
