Summary:The objective of the OBE-ERS program is the estimation of the economic base of specified areas of the Nation currently and at intervals to the year 2020. The resulting information will provide a basis for estimating future economic needs for the development of water and related land resources. The economic bases presented here consist of two major parts: (1) A historical and current picture of the economy of each area; and (2) a projection of these economic pictures to the years 1980, 2000, 2020.
