Recent Benthic Foraminifera from the Central Arctic Ocean.

Benthic Foraminifera are present in 97 of 118 samples taken from the central Arctic Ocean. Samples range in depth from 1069 to 3812 meters. Sixty-seven samples contained at least 300 specimens and are termed quantitative samples. The samples were secured from the top three centimeters of sediment co...

Seventy-three species of Foraminifera are identified including Triloculina frigida, n. sp.; Chilostomella elongata, n. sp.; and Buliminella elegantissima hensoni, n. var.
