The thesis presents the development and planning for redesigning the student record system at the Defense Language Institute, West Coast. The redesign is based on the INFONET system of Computer Sciences Corporation and the use of a data base system and data base language: Data Management Language (DML). This system is in the process of implementation of the Computer Systems Division of the Defense Language Institute, West Coast, at the present time. (Author)
