Scale Model Ultrasonic Study of Arctic Ice.
Backscattering of ultrasonic signals from solid plates and solids are interpreted to yield information about the flexural modes of the plate and the sonic velocities in sea ice as well as the fractional ice content of the water-sea ice layer. (Author)
