Special attention is directed to the formation conditions of naleds in different regions and under varying conditions, consideration is given to the individual factors determining the nature of naleds' formation conditions; a bibliography of the publications dealing with questions of naled development and anti-icing measures has been included. The book is oriented toward a broad group of hydrologists, hydrogeologists, permafrostologists, geographers and engineering geologists. (Author) Draft trans. of mono.
