The territory under study comprises a plains sector in the interfluve of the Ob' River and its tributary, the Poly'ye, formed of sands and sandy-loamy fluvioglacial deposits. The texture of the latter is uniform. All of the natural territorial complexes in the interfluve are supported by frozen layers with a depth of 200-300 m. The observations were conducted in five different natural complexes geochemically interconnected and differing in altitude and moisture conditions.
